Let me start by saying I bought it before year one and winter wear it will hold up to everyday wear at work, workout, hiking and just around the house. He's lost a lot of weight so I bought him a new, larger size. These shirts have an itch that goes away after you put them on. So if you hate it at first, just wear them around the house, wash them. Wear it, etc. Over time, it will become a shirt you never want to take off and an essential item in your wardrobe. This is by far our favorite brand for all merino wool. We've tried others and the itch never goes away, but this one does and is absolutely perfect.
