I was ready to hate this helmet but was really surprised at how well made and how it fits! I wear a 23 1/2 helmet so I ordered an XL and yes it was tight at first but you have to wear this thing around the house even if you look like an idiot to break it in like shoes. I'm very picky about the fit and it hasn't disappointed me on my 1st trip of 75 miles so far! The inner visor folds down easily and while I removed the face shield as I already sit behind a tall windshield for winter driving, in the summer I apply a shortened visor so the face shield can be put back on and the face shield removed in less than 30 seconds without tools.
