MSI x570 ACE has serious problems with MSI software. Dragon Center loads a power profile for the CPU upon installation and the CPU runs at full power all the time, changing power plans in Windows has no effect, and when you uninstall Dragon Center it stays somewhere in the registry and you get stuck Processor (3900x) clocked at 3.8GHz and constantly increasing to 4.2+, ie every second! Installing Ryzen Master does the same thing. I sent this thing back and bought an Asus ROG Hero which I've already noticed offers 25% more speed on my M.2 Raid cards and idle CPU clocks drop like it should. I could use MSI without Dragon Center but then there would be no way to use the RGB lighting I have and why compromise when my hard earned money is at stake. There have been reports of this problem all over the internet since July and still no solution from MSI, too bad because my last board was MSI and I've stayed with them as a regular customer, but I won't be going back. I wouldn't recommend this board unless you're a hardcore overclocker who doesn't mind the CPU running 24/7, and I've never attempted to overclock on this board, so I'm not sure sure if it overclocks well. It's a real shame because it's a good board with a lot of features but one major drawback!
