Bought for aesthetic reasons. Looks stylish but once plugged in I had to plug it in, pack it up and send it back. It looks good in a corner, doesn't take up too much space, and was fairly quiet until there was a nagging noise. like a metal fan spinning and rubbing against something inside. The noise isn't particularly loud, but it's intermittent, shrill, and unbearable. I don't know if the noise is specific to this particular machine, but after reading some other reviews it sounds like the "high frequency hiss" that others are talking about. Super disappointed, not worth 200€. As for the light, as others have mentioned, it makes the brightness of the light unsuitable for a bedroom. The air quality indicator can be turned off, but the bright white fan, timer, or ionizer speed indicators are very bright and cannot be turned off.
