Coway Airmega AP-1216L is designed to accommodate room sizes up to 330 sq. ft. (CADR of Dust 235 / Pollen 262 / Smoke 213 cb. ft. ). 4 Stage Filtration System (Pre-filter, Deodorization filter, True HEPA filter, Vital Ion) captures and reduces up to 99. 97% of particles 0. 3 microns in the air, including pollen, pollutants and other allergens. It also reduces volatile organic compounds and reduces odor. Pre-filter is washable and permanent, designed to catch larger dust particles. Pollution sensor communicates indoor air quality in real-time. Brightly colored LED lets you know how clean or dirty your indoor air is every minute of the day. Also features a timer, plus an indicator for filter lifetime. Energy efficient air purifier with three manual fan speeds plus Auto mode. Auto mode automatically optimizes the fan speed based on the level of indoor air quality. When no pollution is detected for 30 minutes, the fan will automatically stop and enter Eco mode to save energy. The timer feature allows the machine to run 1/4/8 /12 hours before automatically powering off. Filter replacement indicator checks both Pre-filter and HEPA filter respectively to let users be aware of when to wash or replace the filter. Quiet operation with noise level range from 21 dB to 52 dB. Coway Airmega AP-1216L consumes 49. 3 watts. Limited manufacturer's warranty covers any internal/functional parts for 1 year and motor and electronic parts for 3 years. Filters are excluded.

Terrible noise / bright light

Bought for aesthetic reasons. Looks stylish but once plugged in I had to plug it in, pack it up and send it back. It looks good in a corner, doesn't take up too much space, and was fairly quiet until there was a nagging noise. like a metal fan spinning and rubbing against something inside. The noise isn't particularly loud, but it's intermittent, shrill, and unbearable. Not available to blind users

Ordered to fight all the smoke from a campfire here in California. Although this product works as advertised, it is completely out of reach for the blind. The entire device is controlled via a smooth touchscreen with no tactile feedback, buttons or anything else on the device to get it up and running without sighted help. Big, a bit noisy, annoying light, yet it works very well

I bought this 3 years ago after the first "big fire" in the San Francisco Bay Area. much larger than I thought and the light in the bedroom is annoying. As if I had to throw a towel over him. Great design, quiet and low maintenance.

I had several air purifiers and needed one for a very large house. I bought this model and Coway 1512 HH for comparison. Both cars are excellent. Model 1512HH draws air in and out through the sides. This 1216L draws in air from the side and directs it to the right side of the machine. The air sensor on this is located on the left side of the machine. Frustrating design flaws make it unsuitable for a bedroom

This air purifier might be great at cleaning the air, but it has some unfortunate design choices that break the deal. Due to its bright light in particular, it is unsuitable for use in the bedroom when people are sleeping. We bought this model in part because it has a light-off feature that turns off the main air quality indicator. The air quality light is really incredibly bright, so that's important.
