I bought this pump for an overhead pool deck. When it rained I used my wet vacuum and it was great. This pump is a small motor that could. It's strong, but not overly strong. The hose clamps are great and work great. I leave it on top of the pool because it's raining and it's doing its job! I'm updating this review because I need to provide more positive feedback on this incredible product. As the summer of 2021 approached, I had to drain my 10,000 gallon Intex pool. I used my wet vacuum cleaner with the pump connected, everything worked great. I needed another pump to help. I added this kid and gosh he did it all. He worked 48 hours straight to empty my pool. Great cool pump
