I've only used it for a long drive, through parks and through traffic jams. For the rest of the ride, I had to stretch every minute while riding the bike to try and tighten the knob, but it's also a bit awkward because the knob is located on the mount and around the handlebars. . When I was at traffic lights or something I'd stop for a second to try and re-tighten it as much as I could, but it never got stuck and rattled again a few seconds after I got back on the road. I haven't ridden on perfectly flat roads but you never do, it was pretty standard urban road terrain and frankly good for the city, nothing crazy like big bumps, potholes or long stretches of rough or rocky pavement. I've moved again. often enough where it didn't get to the point where the phone would pop out, but I was genuinely concerned that if I didn't readjust the knob as often as I did it would eventually become a problem. As it stands now it just rattled the whole time and I was worried the whole trip about my phone popping out of its holder. I've been looking for something to attach my phone to my bike for a while so I have a map. while I ride. It was really nice to be able to do this, but with the rattling and constant worry that my phone would pop out of its holder and smash on the pavement, I think I'll look at other options.
