The product seems to do what it is supposed to do, but the tiny "manual" is insufficient, so I wrote it myself. Maybe others like it. Timer Instructions One AAA battery required. The timer MODE is displayed in the upper right corner. Always confirm the correct MODE! The MODE button selects one of the following options: 1. Master Timer2. 24-hour clock 3. Time of day the alarm sounds1. basic timer. "TIMER" is displayed in the upper right corner. Countdown: Enter the hours, minutes and/or seconds you want to count down before the alarm sounds, then press START/STOP, a bell icon will appear at the top center. It will beep for one minute if you don't press START/STOP. If you don't turn it off, it will start counting down so you know how much time has passed since the alarm went off. The bell icon will NOT appear. Count: If you just press START/STOP without setting the time, the counter will count the elapsed time for 24 hours.2. 24 hour clock. "CLOCK” is displayed in the upper right corner. The hours are set by pressing the time buttons until the correct time is displayed and then pressing the START/STOP button. There is no 12-hour format, so: 12:001:30 AM is 12:001:30 AM, that is 1:3012 AM, noon is 12:001:30 PM, that is 1:3011 PM, that is 11:003 p.m. The time of day when the alarm is set. Nothing appears in the upper-right corner, but when you use this option, a bell icon appears in the top center. This timer and the main timer can be used at the same time. Set the time of day you want the alarm to sound just as you set the time on the clock in step 2 above. Then press START/STOP and a bell icon will appear in the top center. Press START/STOP again to disable this function; the ring icon will disappear and the alarm will not sound, but the last set alarm time will be displayed.
