I thought “rustic” was mainly the paint

I opened the bag and the item wasn’t what I was expecting based on what was advertised I thought it would be a higher quality piece and painted and sanded down to appear rustic. This is not that. Splinters of wood and glued pack in place and it’s very rough looking pieces of wood formed into a frame. Maybe this was a one off manufacturing mistake but didn’t get caught in the quality checks idk but I will stay away from this one and seek out made in USA.

Pros

The frame is fine and sturdy. The colors are pretty true to picture.

The distressed look may appear unprofessional
