The device is easy to use. I used two other thermometers to check two separate pork hams. As I neared final temp, I used the Kizen Instant Thermometer to get a second opinion on core temp. Kizen readings were quick but a degree or two away from other thermometers. Not a big difference, but still different. My question now is which of the three is correct. However, Kizen provided instant results, which is why I bought it.
