When the filter needs to be replaced, the pressure quickly drops to ZERO. Other meltblown polymer filters I've used tend to have a pressure drop that steadily increases over time, and eventually they can even pass particles, but they don't clog completely. Not these - they go from full flow to no flow very quickly, even at 70psi. This can be desirable because you know exactly when to change it. Consequently, they don't hold nearly as much sediment and therefore don't last nearly as long.
