Will not fit Culligan P5 home filter

These filters will not fit my Culligan home filter which requires a P5 filter. There, the filters need a groove at the top and bottom so that the comb fits in my filter. I'll try to cut a groove in the top and bottom. Too much money wasted.

Pros
  • Enjoy
Cons
  • Ratio set

Replacement water filters cost money

I am ordering these for our built in water filter and they work very well. We have horribly sulphurous water that stains my sinks, bathtubs and clothes even with daily cleaning. These filters help reduce this significantly, making the water clearer and not smelling like rotten eggs. which is definitely a plus.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors

Happy Camper - kitchen and bathroom lighting

I installed two filters in a row, using the first for the sump and the second for the carbon filter. I had problems with deposits that were clearly noticeable, the difference was that the water was crystal clear immediately. Now I will make sure both filters are changed every three months as my well water has a lot of sediment and this solved the problem.

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • No paint required

Good sediment filter for the price

These filters fit perfectly and appear to be the same material as the OEM filter. I assume the sediment filters will need to be changed frequently as there is red clay deposits in the well that need to be removed. I expect to change them at least every two months, so this is an economical purchase to achieve the goal of getting clean water at the lowest cost. I plan to buy more in the future.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Retrofittable

excellent filter, suitable for replacing table water filters

I have been using these filters for about a year. I have high iron levels in my water, it's not dangerous to drink, but the water heater will rust and leave rust spots where the water sits and dries out, like in a shower. This filter traps iron and lasts about 2-3 months. Lately I've been changing it every month because the water company is replacing the main line in town so the iron is flushed into the system.

Pros
  • As everything before
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other options

Clogs when replacement is needed

When the filter needs to be replaced, the pressure quickly drops to ZERO. Other meltblown polymer filters I've used tend to have a pressure drop that steadily increases over time, and eventually they can even pass particles, but they don't clog completely. Not these - they go from full flow to no flow very quickly, even at 70psi. This can be desirable because you know exactly when to change it. Consequently, they don't hold nearly as much sediment and therefore don't last nearly as long.

Pros
  • Ideal for a small home
Cons
  • Sad unit

Great water filter for the price.

I live on an island. When there is a lot of rain or during hurricane season, drinking water always has a milky appearance or a lot of sediment in it. Since using these filters, I don't have to clean my water tanks as often. The water tastes great and shines clean. I have 3,800 gallon water tanks because the water sometimes runs out for months. Depending on the water quality, these filters become clogged. Depending on the water quality, they last from 3 months to 2 weeks. Many Thanks.
