Review on Instapark Flameless Candles Realistic Tealights by Barb Cook

March 10, 2013 I was looking for a safer alternative to candles because we (A) have small curious grandchildren and (B) live in a natural forest and are particularly fond of fire - deliberately. I started using them to create atmosphere in the room, but the flickering was so unnatural, more like a "blink" effect with many light sources, that I moved them to the hot tub. The photo shows lanterns that emit a warm yellow-gold light. The lights I received were white and gave off a very white light. I was able to use some of these in deep voltive/tealight holders that were tinted and was more than happy with the effect. The deeper brackets nicely covered the very white plastic case and artificial "flame". For that purpose they were good. That's the only reason I gave them no stars or two. I leave them to myself. The cost was not enough for me to send them back (living in the mountains has its disadvantages, such as the lack of mail delivery to the house). They had some merit and I can always use them as a cake topper! ;-)
