Review on Co-Poly Tennis Racket String, OEHMS Alu Pearl Rough 200M (660Ft) Reel Grooved by Antonio Rojas

Revainrating 5 out of 5

These are really great Strings

Hey everyone, I was a formerly top 20 player in norcal who plays everyday. I was a on the half-sponsorship via Head (preferred player program) and I've been stringing for 10 years, and I have to tell you that OEHMs is killing it. I'm currently rated a 5.5. I hope they don't pull a Luxilon and sell itself to Wilson, and charge $7000 per reel so that they can feed Federer's love for Rolexes and Royces. Anyways, this string is great because it plays like ALU Power. To be honest, you are paying for brand and not quality. This is like a Grade A Imitator that outperforms tier 1 strings. String it at lower tension like 45-50s and you will see the power and spin it generates. My customers are astonished at how good these strings are. I use it in the crosses and for the mains I use Poly Tour Pro Yonex 125 16 Gauge. In the end, these work super well on groundstroke rackets like Babolat Pure Drives, Babolat Aero Pros, and Wilson Blades. People who like to serve and volley and more feel, may want to try Volkyl Cyclone or Hyper G Solinco strings. All in all, if you ever visit a plastic factory in China or Europe, you will realize that these products are super cheap when produced in bulk. You don't need diamond encrusted strings with Gold plated ends, and a super model smiling you from a $50 dollar package for just one string job. Save that money and go to the strip club. You'll leave happier.

Pros
  • Good tension retaintion!
Cons
  • Difficult to string due to its grooved design
