Purchased to weigh envelopes for mailing. The envelope is too large for the weigh platform and the weigh platform does not extend above the rest of the machine. As a result, you should balance the envelope on one edge, diagonally along the long side of the weighing platform, by holding the envelope upright with your hand. Therefore the weights are not accurate. I had items delayed or returned because this thing says 0.95 ounces and the post says 1.10 ounces. I am sure it is correct if your item fits completely on the platform of the scale. But for the purpose I'm aiming for (weighing envelopes, although I already know they're heavier than usual), this small unit is just too small to give an accurate weight.
