god these things put out a lot of light, not "bright" but a lot of light. Really does the job. I am impressed. I had to dock where it shouldn't be. So it was really hard to leave. But if you stick it where it is recommended to you, it will be pretty smooth. This is a well made product, I can say I took it apart (to put it back together). It's very difficult to get the right innards. And the LEDs didn't twitch when I took them off, they really wanted to stay in place. So I wouldn't have a problem buying them again, but damn I should have a few extra miles. Just pay attention to the mounting clips, they will cut you when attaching the cover, just pay attention and you'll be fine.
