From the description it is clear that the size of the lampshade includes an industry standard 1/2 inch deduction. For this reason I ordered a 27 inch panel. But when it comes down to it > the butt width of the frame is 26.5 inches, > the butt width of the curtain/fabric is ONLY 25.2 inches. (see photos) For me, the inner bracket leaves almost a 1.5" gap on either side and does NOT cover the window. I wish the fabric was at least 1 inch wider, that would be a great product. This leaves a fairly large gap , even if your window is 27" wide. I want to use it for one of my smaller windows (because I like the look of the product). But if none of them fit I will return 😒
