I've been using these pens since they came out. They are amazingly smooth. Slight adjustments of pressure and angle produce an endless array of results, from thin straight lines to bold thick lines ending in receding swirls. I mainly use them for illustrations, although they're also great for filling in the black background of black and white photos printed on matte (not glossy) paper. A super fine brush tip is required. The lids hold securely. What surprises me the most is the massive drop in price of this brush in recent years. The cost is about half what it used to be. The product is better, the price is lower. This equation does it for me. I've searched other online marketplaces but haven't found this pen at the best price yet. If you practice drawing for the first time just to try it, you will quickly see why this brush is so loved by many cartoonists, artists and illustrators.
