Review on Kent Marine 100100975 Pro Scraper Short by Tina Miles

Very happy with the quality of this scraper! The first thing that struck me when I took the pen out of the box was how solid it felt. More and more aquarium products are being made from cheaper plastic, so it was nice to pull it out and feel how durable it was with the fiberglass construction. Even when fully extended at 36 inches, the handle remains stiff, allowing you to apply adequate pressure on the glass to remove more stubborn algae or coralline algae for those with saltwater aquariums. My tank is 30 inches deep so this scraper is a godsend when it comes to tank maintenance. It's nice to be able to clean the jar down to the substrate line without sticking your whole hand in the tank! The included short handle was also a valuable bonus as it really helps with cleaning the top of the tank around the rim of the tank. I recommend the Kent Marine Pro-Scraper 24-36" for those with a deeper tank.
