You seem fat enough, not too thin and not too fat. Very easy to cut with scissors to suit my needs. I bought these to fit over the plastic pegs on the basket frame at our container store as there are plastic grommets in the corners of the basket that go over the plastic pegs, they just slipped off at the slightest bump. After trimming these caps these 5/16 inch vinyl caps fit perfectly and keep the damn basket from slipping off the frame! Well those black caps are sticking out like a sore thumb (also noticeable) but I don't care because I'm so glad the basket is finally staying in place! At least they weren't bright where my kid could see it as something to play with.
