These plastic caps are just what I needed to replace the tent pole tips on my old pop up dome text. They helped the poles slide through the tent's sleeves. They are soft enough that when I dropped them in a cup of hot water they stretched slightly to fit the end of the pole and once cooled they were very firm and secure.

You seem fat enough, not too thin and not too fat. Very easy to cut with scissors to suit my needs. I bought these to fit over the plastic pegs on the basket frame at our container store as there are plastic grommets in the corners of the basket that go over the plastic pegs, they just slipped off at the slightest bump. After trimming these caps these 5/16 inch vinyl caps fit perfectly and keep the damn basket from slipping off the frame! Well those black caps are sticking out like a sore thumb
