This pump was purchased for one big job and it continues to irrigate my greenhouse. I run water through 50' of 1/2" line with this pump at the bottom of our nutrient solution reservoir and it does exactly what I need it to do on a timer.

This is the perfect size to replace the short tubing on my small water pump in our small water lily pond. We have a few small goldfish in the pond as well. I needed a longer piece of tubing and I could cut the length I needed and not have too much left over.

This is what it says it is but the elasticity is not very great. It is likely more for use in industrial applications where you don't need it to stretch.

this has enhanced the use of certain devices that require high temp tubing. have flexed this every which way at different temps and it works as well as the day 1.

got this and only really needed about 8" as a drainage tube. i figured i'd find more uses and i have.i put two sections on a tie-down rope and now i don't have to worry about it damaging the paint on my truck. another couple are being used to protect the trees in the same way for my hammock. might take a piece and slip it over the handle of one of my adjustable wrenches so it hurts my hand less.it's good stuff with lots of uses. more than what i've come up with so far.

I am using this tubing on my draft beer setup into taps going through the wall behind my kegerator. The beer is fine through the line, doesn't foam badly or anything so that's good. The problem is when you come back to pour a beer the next day, the silicone is porous and lets all of the CO2 out of the line so the first 4 ounces of your beer is totally flat. I needed to replace my sailboat’s cockpit drain tubes and this 1.25” ID tubing was exactly what I needed. Other tubing was much too stiff (even when heated in hot water) to be pliable enough to connect a PVC pipe to a thru-hull connector, since there were only a few inches between them. Add a few hose clamps and no more water will be getting inside my boat. (Well from here anyway!)

I used the in short pieces as weatherproofing by fitting 2 inch sections over the connections of my outdoor security cameras. Even though the connectors are weather resistant, they are now waterproof.

Doesn't past the simple pure silicone bend test. Would have been great for my need but it's not pure silicone. Also had a horrible chemical smell and about 3 feet short

This is fairly standard silicone tubing. I bought 1 1/2". The wall thickness is about average. I think some of the reviewers may not be used to the properties of silicone tubing. It's quite flexible but the thickness is good for normal applications. Will work great for me. My only complaint is the packaging. It does come wrapped up tightly which deforms the tube so if that makes a difference look elsewhere or find an inventive way of expanding it again.

I expected a ROUND hose - not a flattened hose that cannot be rounded. Even heating to several hundred degrees does not change the flatness. Really disappointing since this flat hose is almost useless for gravity draining fluids. If I had known it would be shipped this way I would not have bought it.
