Review on Tyger Auto TG RK4B102B Receiver Protector by Josh Allen

It really works for 2011 Ford Edge

Ignore the note above that says it doesn't work on the 2011 Ford Edge. It really is and it's okay. I carry my MTB on a belt carrier. good quality. Still, it's a bit scary to drive on the freeway because sometimes the seat belts would dangle (no matter how tight I buckled them) or a sudden turn could warp the entire strut. So I decided to mount it in the hitch for peace of mind. and i have it. PROS: - Good quality, durable and works well - Stays in place, period. Someone said that there is an easy play at the insertion point. Yes there is, but it can be fixed SIMPLY by hammering the grooves together to make them tighter or by adding spacers. I did the first one and couldn't be happier. The straps are really strong but I'm sure they will loosen over time so I'll keep an eye on them. There is no easy way to "move" it sideways or down or "slide" it to access (lift) the trunk. Unfortunately, you have to unscrew it to tilt it down. Too bad it didn't have a quick release form or something.

Pros
  • Easy install in minutes. (Do-it-yourself instructions included.) To stabilize the bike while riding, you must attach both of the included seat belts. Otherwise, all resulting accidents and damage will not be covered by the warranty.
Cons
