I have never used Beats products before, so I can't say anything about the "old days" of the brand. There are high frequencies and there are low frequencies. The mids are very blurry. Therefore, for lovers of classics, neoclassics, rock, alternative and other similar genres, headphones may seem rather mediocre. I can only say to this - you will get used to it (as I had to). For fans of hip-hop, rap, pop and perhaps jazz, headphones are for you))) Just one more thing. The control buttons are mechanical. Reliable, but sometimes not very convenient. The alternative is voice control through Siri (although others may not understand you at times)
