Review on 🌑 Noctua NH-U9S chromax.Black: Premium 92mm Single-Tower CPU Cooler in Sleek Black Design by Jeremy Tang

The AMD stealth cooler didn't fit my small form factor. The system could hit a thermal wall under full load (96°C CPU). After installing NH-U9S: CPU temperature only reached the low to mid 70s and 80s under graphics card load. In general, the temperature drops by 10-20 ° C, but it becomes quieter. An important note and two difficulties: NH-U9S does not prevent the installation of RAM. However, the RAM can partially block the fan (see attached photos). Second, the installation guide didn't mention any gap color for clarification/verification. I finally confirmed that the online version of the manual included color coding. Finally, this is perhaps one of those annoying cases where I had trouble installing the cooler after applying the paste, even though the first successful test install was done without the paste. Anyhow, the mounting method can be unforgiving when trying to be exact (i.e. not the slightest bit of twisting or misalignment during placement and attachment). I think that applies to all coolers. System Specs: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X, 32GB Corsair Vengeance Pro RGB, Asus ROG Strix B550-I GamingP.S. I know brown is Noctua's iconic color, but it just doesn't go with any aesthetic. So I agree with the other reviewer. Good thing Noctua decided to offer black (ie Chromax) versions.
