I have an old Basstracker Pro17 and as you can see the addition of a 9 gallon tank leaves almost no room for a plug. removable drain plug. I didn't plan on drilling out the stock port, but the kit doesn't match the welds. I bit the bullet and it worked in the end. If you choose to do this, you will need a stepped nozzle that cuts out the aluminum drain hole (1 inch). Good thing that can be fixed by putting the old part back in. The 8ft cable is almost too short for my 17ft boat but it works. Made a mount for a remote switch. You need to cut a hole for the remote switch. I am very satisfied with this set in every respect. I would have preferred not to cut the port but in my case it was necessary.
