High quality as always from Kreg

I have used these screws when assembling new Baltic Birch plywood kitchen cabinets. They have excellent holding power and grip, and rarely strip unless you run into a gap between layers (one of over 1000 used on this project).

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Good but not great

I really like her.

Very high quality Kreg screws. If you need a strong screw, this is a good choice. I like a flat head with a washer for a variety of purposes besides pocket holes. I find that a square is less likely to slip like a Phillips is sometimes. I don't use thousands of screws so I don't really care about the slightly higher cost.

Pros
  • Great construction
Cons
  • Crumpled

The industry standard for a reason.

I bought these to connect 1/2 inch plywood to a pocket hole and they came with it. The box is strong enough to hold together for a while so I don't have to toss screw scraps in a coffee can. The screws themselves will work as intended when installed in a properly drilled blind hole. QC on them is quite high; I have used thousands of 1-1/4 and most of this box and have not come across one that was improperly formed or broken off at the head.

Excellent quality! Heads never break off, and they do.

Excellent quality! The heads never break and they're self-tapping so you don't have to pre-drill a hole. Nothing more to say but the quality of all Kreg screws is the best. I repair and assemble furniture for a living. I've been doing this for 35 years. Quality screws are very important in my shop, but I also use whatever else around the house you need to screw them easily. I would recommend them. They also have them in different sizes.

  • Good product for the price

Head Too Wide on Power & Hand Tools

This product is specifically designed to cut into pieces of wood half an inch thick, but the head is too wide to do this without over the to get out of the hole. The screws that come with the Kreg bit have a different head better suited for this purpose. I don't understand how Kreg made such a mistake. The reason someone buys branded hardware is so you can assume it will work with tools from the same brand. In this case the crag failed and I was $20 short and had to wait a few days for the…

Those are screws. Mine came in plastic boxes.

These are screws. Mine came in the plastic boxes they use now, not the boxes shown in the pictures. When I received mine it only came in a padded letterbox/envelope just because AMZN would deliver it themselves I'm guessing. The lid was torn off and half of the screws in the envelope were unscrewed. Not a big deal, but when I put them back in, they only filled half the box! But no worry. Count I got 3 extra! Don't be surprised if the screws don't even come close to filling the container. My…

I have a Kreg K4 jig and used it to drill 1/2 inch pocket holes. I originally had pan head screws for the same hole in the bag, but they are for the micro pocket drill guide (black guide) because the holes are smaller. Well, I didn't want to buy another $50 drill guide if I already had it. This maxi-lock screw (looks like a washer head) holds up better on regular sized pocket holes, but after connecting 1/2" stock and a fully tightened screw, part of the washer screw head protrudes slightly…
