It wasn't the cheapest option for a laptop stand but it worked the best for my application so I gave it a try. My general impression is that it's fairly easy to assemble and very solid. The drawer is very elegant and comfortable. On regular carpet it rolls decently even with the weight. It's also quite light and I have no problem carrying it up and down the stairs fully loaded on the top shelf. My Use: I have used it as a mobile game/tv cart with great success. I mounted the 24" monitor on a swing arm at the back of the stand. Also on the middle shelf I have a small laptop, an extension cord and a wireless TV signal transmitter. I still carry it as described above. I can use the monitor stand it as high as it can and rotate it so it hangs easily from the back of the cart. I am very happy with this cart!
