I used this to upgrade my NAS from 4GB to 20GB of memory to run virtualization and possibly Docker containers on the NAS. Technically it shouldn't have worked (Intel's website caps the CPU at 8GB), but it did and I've been running past the 8GB CPU "limit" for almost a month. The storage is reliable, no problems. This is a standard SODIMM and easy to install. The cheapest memory of the three known works with my "cheat" on my NAS and I'm very happy with the result. I plan to build a clone of this NAS for remote backup and will upgrade the storage on a future device in the same way with this storage without reservation.
