I used these plates to absorb vibration on my old Rosewill triple monitor mount. I cut out a leaf to match the shape of the base of the bracket where it meets the table. This has the added benefit of protecting my desk from dents left by the mount. The base of the mount is in two pieces that connect together with 4 turnbuckles, but Rose's manufacturing tolerances leave a lot to be desired. When fully tightened, the base pieces still wobbled a bit. The second rubber plate solved this problem. Placed between the top and bottom of the mount (with holes cut appropriately for the passage of the screws) there is no longer any vibration. The mount feels properly secured and solid. I cut the third sheet to fit the underside of the table where the hub mounting clamps will be tightened on the table. This protects the table and adds another layer of vibration dampening. While I still sometimes see monitor shake when typing, the overall effect has been greatly minimized with this simple and inexpensive solution! The only downside that I can think of is the smell of the product, which is very strong for a few days but dissipates. something with time.
