I really like these silicone spoons but found a few rough edges on the blue ones that I had to 'fix' before using them with my 7 month old baby. Another downside is discoloration: once these spoons touch the bowl of mashed carrots, they will permanently discolor! I've tried everything to get the orange stain out: soaking in vinegar, "sun bleaching" and just scrubbing with a stiff brush and various soaps to no avail. But even with the staining issue, they're still a decent set of spoons and I think my teething baby feels the same way. But be careful. I DO NOT RECOMMEND using these spoons with food that could get dirty.
