I bought this cable so my daughter can connect her Chromebook to our TV to watch Netflix (her laptop only has a USB Type-C port, no HDMI port) . The cable worked perfectly. It was easy to use, very straight forward. Plugged it into my laptop, then plugged the other end into the HDMI port on the back of the TV, switched the input to the TV and Netflix blared on the screen. I recommend this cable if you are in a similar situation.
