Review on πŸ”’ Ultimate Protection: Pacsafe Backpack Protector Silver in Size [specified] by Candice Cooksey

It's a lot smaller than you think, but ironically the holes are way too big

It's hard to imagine that this net can hold 55 liter water bottles, which is the advertised capacity. I think in real life it should fit about 25 liters or the size of a large backpack. Trying to post more here would be a problem. The steel mesh has a bit of a memory issue, which in a way is great for putting this item back in the included holdall. The bad news is you're now having trouble opening this thing so you can put your backpack (or just a cloth tote bag in my case) inside. But once your bag is in and you've closed it with the zipper, it looks relatively safe at first glance. But don't be complacent, because there are two glaring problems. 1. Not all loops are tightened. Due to the design, there is a large x2 hole along the spring zone in order to be able to pull the hip straps of the backpack (if available) from the net. Although it is tightened as tight as possible. It's no use because with a little fiddling, I was able to maneuver around a hole large enough to get my iPad mini out of my pocket in under a minute.2. Unfortunately, even if you used extra padlocks and such to close the giant $1 hole at the top, the individual hinges/holes are large enough that you can't easily pull out small things like mugs, cameras, headphones and everything else. You can easily put your hand through the hole, so with a knife in hand, you can easily cut open the pocket, find some goodies to steal, and get them out quickly. No tools looking for a quick count or one of those that cut open a bag and run, it will work. For anyone with 5 minutes and a pocket knife, anything smaller than a grapefruit in your pocket will be stolen. Thank goodness for Revain's excellent returns policy.
