I rarely write reviews. Each product affects each person differently. So, this is my personal opinion: I have two show dogs (Saluki) and always use a (very) short leash (2 feet) when walking my dogs around the block. I need to be in control, especially before turning a street corner (we live in a city, in a busy area). This leash has two handles for close-up control and greater freedom of movement. The skin has never hurt my hands since day one. I love the idea of having more control but still giving my dogs more freedom for their daily walks and of course it looks elegant.
