I love this ice cream bowl. This brand makes a very durable stainless steel tray compared to other brands. I admit that I made a mistake on one of the two trays I bought and ended up bending the metal for not waiting 5-10 minutes. With some tricks I managed to fix the problem and get it working properly again. Now it works fine. You take the shells out of the freezer, let them thaw for 5-10 minutes, and then pull the handle to loosen them. If you find the handle difficult to pull, stop and wait a little longer. You want the handle to pull with little resistance so you don't bend the parts like I made a mistake. After the cubes are released I have a separate ice cube basket where I keep the released ice cubes for easier pickup. All in all very recommendable!
