Very good quality cookware set

I had never heard of Goodful cookware before but the cookware set looked very attractive. I have a vacation home in the mountains as well as a husband/guest apartment in my basement. Both the guests and my mother-in-law throw themselves at criticism. And the guests of a holiday apartment are very choosy when it comes to kitchen utensils. So I figured I'd take a set of these for vacation rentals. Wanting to double check them before renting them out for the holidays, I unpacked them all at home and took the opportunity to cook a few meals. meals and use each at least twice. As advertised the non-stick surface is pretty good, whether it was frying in a skillet, pancakes in a skillet or simmering spaghetti sauce in one of the sauté pans, it was all very easy to clean. All handles have a comfortable grip, not just steel or aluminum. The bottom of the pots has a spiral pattern that provides better and more even heat conduction. I use gas in my kitchen at home, but both my apartment and my mother-in-law's have electric stoves. The pans worked well in both situations. The set contains two bamboo tools. Not sure why they were included but it was a nice addition. As I mentioned, the non-stick surface is pretty good, but I recommend swiping on a very thin coat of good quality olive, sunflower, or canola oil from time to time. I do not recommend using cooking oils or cooking sprays. As you would expect, their pans are easy to hand clean. I didn't have to soak any of them to clean them. I usually hand wash the large pots and let them dry, but these are dishwasher safe. I recommend using wooden utensils to avoid scratching the hob. During my use, the bottom and sides remained undamaged, but as with any dish, treat it with respect and don't bang it on your spouse's head. had the opportunity to review them this weekend. They are all still like new, although I have had 7 different tenants since replacing the old crockery. Although the description says it is "premium" cookware, this is not the case. In my opinion very good and inexpensive dishes. A "Premium" pan can cost 2-3 times more than this set. This set is a great dinnerware set for a small to medium sized kitchen. It's the perfect gift for a college student moving into their apartment, or someone who's just starting out and needs some decent supplies.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
