Don't, apply a soft cloth and your favorite polish

I used this on a solid walnut dining table. . It left a terrible stickiness, stains and marks, and fluff from the perforated edges of the napkins. I washed off all the mush he had made with a damp cloth with a drop of washing-up liquid and applied the usual Pledge; Everything is back to normal, thank god. Those wipes are now going in the trash.
