Non Cricket - Reptiles and Amphibians

This is the largest prefabricated mesh cage available for the money. Not protected from house crickets as the bottom is not covered by the sieve disc. Pretty cheap design solution for the manufacturer.

Ideal for chameleons, toads and other small reptiles!

The product comes in a 7.6 x 7.6 x 12.7 cm packaging which makes it easy to damage during transport, a return (various, fast and professional) , the next in perfect condition. It is a little tedious to assemble, 22 minutes from opening to completion. Everything else is exactly as advertised.

This Exo Terra Screen Terrarium is beautiful!

Screened terrarium was delivered on time, relatively easy to assemble and is a quality product. I wanted this for growing purposes and it worked great. I'd like more, but Revain seems to increase prices exponentially once clicked, doubling in this case. So it will have to wait.

Rainforest must be! :)

I was very surprised that the negative reviews I read were actually not as negative as they are made out to be. This is the only option on the market when it comes to larger chameleon habitats. Assembled as per the instructions, it stands very well, my chameleon is now in its little paradise. I hope he continues to support the Light and Reptilian Nebula. It will be interesting to clean it up, but I won't worry about that for now.

Sturdy and easy to assemble

Very happy with the purchase. I was looking for a larger enclosure for our chameleon. Started with a starter kit from Petsmart and it worked fine for a while. Same company, same brand. It was the same quality. The lamps are nicely placed at the top. Beading wire was used to hang branches and foliage. Install a rainmaker and cover the cage evenly. I had to align the back and sides to keep the moisture in like I did with our last cage. An adult chameleon can easily grasp the wire sides. Happy…

A bit shocked by the terrariums

The condition of the box was absolutely shocking and I expected it to be in much better shape than it was for the money spent. Now I didn't get any assembly instructions. However, there was a picture on the back of the box with numbers on different parts. The pieces themselves weren't labeled as pictured, so figuring it out was one hell of a puzzle. That's the size I wanted, but the shielding seems pretty weak. I mean it will work fine but I could build a similar sized cage for a fraction of…

Some mesh cell experience is offered.

This was perfect for my panther chameleon. Easy to clean and set up. (But I know about wire cages) The open floor was the only design flaw I noticed. I had to cut a piece of plexiglass to cover the bottom, the stand I use is smaller than the base. So it was necessary to hold my position. Crickets don't run away. And only hang any sticks or plants on the frame, it will be more durable if you do it and won't damage the screen if done right! Worth the money, but I suggest gaining experience with…

Looks good but poor quality and flows like crazy

I love exo terra and almost always get the products they make and I need. I know they have a reputation for being overly cooperative and cheap, but that's not usually a problem for me. However, this may have changed for this product. If you succeed, LEARN HOW TO REPLACE THE SCREEN! Mine came with a few small holes and I made a bigger one when trying to assemble it (difficult to assemble). I fixed everything but this thing won't hold the crickets and they are covering my exterior. It's a good…

Does not support perches

Because this cage is advertised for chameleons and as arboreal chameleons need roosting, I bought this cage for my panther chameleon. I ran a wire through the screen in a few places to support the branches. Over time, gravity pulling the branches down has broken through parts of the screen, creating large holes and crevices, and now crickets and roaches (used as food bugs) are crawling out and climbing into my apartment. I have no choice but to use sealants that would be poisonous to the…
