Review on TICONN Connectors Self Stripping Electrical Disconnect by Ines Jones

Revainrating 4 out of 5

They work well when you're sure the male end is right inside the shell.

So at first they worked for my purpose and didn't tear my car's audio harness to pieces. They look pretty cozy when you put them together. I twisted the terminals around the wire once or twice (without using force) just to ensure penetration, but the same could be accomplished by lightly cutting the wires. That's why I docked it with a star. I connected everything and nothing works. I ended up chasing everything, blah blah blah, but ultimately the pin ends of these connectors were the culprit. What happened to them is that during the crimping process the spatula was pressed against the housing so I thought they were connected but the spatula just slides around the socket on the terminal and doesn't slide the way I want it to. When I figured it out, I bent them into place, connected everything and everything was fine. This was the first time using this type of connectors and I am happy with it. You just have to make sure that the male part is right in the middle.

Pros
  • ✔️PREMIUM QUALITY - thicker tinned copper contacts will not bend even when connected with thicker wires; Quick release T-connectors attach securely to the wire. The plastic case won't open after snapping onto the wire
Cons
  • No automatic
