We got our 8lb Yorkie just over a year ago and she has not been leash trained at all. Every time we tried to walk her with a leash attached to her collar, she would pull so hard she would choke. We also tried a harness meant to prevent pulling, which only saved her from choking but didn't help with the pulling. This headdress works great! She definitely needed some adjustment as she was dying to get it off her mouth the first few times, even after being talked into carrying it with treats. However, as soon as we started walking, she walked like any other dog on the leash. After a few minutes, she realized that the tugging was uncomfortable and started sticking to me instead.
