22ft 5 " overall 2.5ft missing

So far so good but 25ft missing SALESMAN Just tell the truth! . They sell 22.5 inches so people know what they're getting! I needed 22 inches so I don't care but be honest! I smoked a little so first ran outside to burn the oil from the pipe as others have said. Update over time with quality.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Poorly thought out

Invalid product description. NOT 25'

Not 25' as other reviewers have mentioned. Mine was 22.5 feet so if your project calls for exactly 25 feet you will be very disappointed. Otherwise the tube is as expected but they really need to either change the product description or state the number of tubes you paid for. This is very dishonest and needs to be addressed.

  • Pleasant

  • Good but not great

Rusted on day 1.

I don't know what the whistle is made of but definitely not stainless steel. I use it to get the exhaust out of the barn. Warmth enveloped the first few feet, and after that every inch was covered in rust. I hope only surface rust remains and doesn't cause exhaust leaks throughout the pipe. Trying to keep exhaust fumes out of your home can instead become a major problem. The time will show.

Good temp exhaust hoses

I used this to replace a broken exhaust pipe on an RV onboard generator. I decided to install the flex so I could easily take it off between sites and days of travel since the OEM hard tube hung very low. Tore a regular pipe on the front of the gas station. I can install and remove the flexible tube in just a few minutes. It's flexible so I roll it up and put it in the storage compartment. I have worked many hours with the generator so far without any problems. I would recommend this for the…

It doesn't hold up better in flex

It should be galvanized. I installed it on a sailing boat as an exhaust pipe for a small diesel heater. The stater leaks for 6 months, then it completely disintegrates at the exit point. I've never had anything really and properly galvanized without failing completely. See photo for full and absolute proof of fault. I don't see a way to survive this in an environment where there is salt at all (like a road set aside for winter). Must look for the best option.

Hose Gopher Killer

Took an old Briggs and Stratton engine with standard 3/4" NPT exhaust. Got a 3/4" black iron nipple. Threaded it into the motor. This tube fits directly onto the 3/4" nipple threads. The fast hum of a MIG welder. Now when the ground squirrels start digging in the backyard, I stick this exhaust pipe in this hole and throw some dirt on it. Start the engine and leave the throttle all the way down and it still runs smoothly. After a few tries, I must have finally made it to the hiding place. They…

GREAT VALUE but WILL SMOKE the first hour. Also installation instructions.

They have a protective layer of oil that needs to be burned off, so let it smoke for at least half an hour if it's outside or with the door open with a fan. The pipe is MUCH HEAVY DUTY than the original diesel heater exhaust pipe and is a true inch diameter which is slightly larger. Fortunately, the original whistle can be cut or turned into one. Therefore, CUT YOUR ORIGINAL in half for installation. Insert them into each end of the cut along the length of the new pipe. It's long enough and…

Pretty smoke show but good stuff!

I have 1 inch for my generator. I used a 220 volt 35 amp welder (lowest setting) and flashed it when I wasn't paying much attention. , I'm just an amateur welder, not a professional. Once I connected it to the generator and started it worked fine. What I didn't expect was how heavily it smoked when heated. it was producing oil burn or something but it was smoking closest to the intake and worked down as it warmed up. The temp gun showed it started smoking when it was around 400F which is within

Alternator exhaust over 1100 F

Review Walker (40000) 1 inch diameter - 25 feet Electroplated flexible hose. We were without electricity for a week after a winter storm on the estate. After seeing articles on the internet "How to lengthen your generator exhaust" I thought I would give this flexible exhaust a try. Previously, reviewers said the pipe was covered in smoking oil. Photo 1: The tube does not blink at 1102 degrees Fahrenheit. It's almost red. on the sidewalk to see the smoke from burning oil. The smoke isn't…
