Once I figured out the adjustable sections of this stylish & flexible piece of equipment, I was able to attach it to an adjustable desk I use for my laptop. It keeps a tight hold of my phone so I can easily use it to play videos, use the calculator app and check texts while working. This item is too flimsy - don't even think of bumping the table, it'll quickly shake. Also, the depth of the phone grasp is too shallow - something I should have taken into consideration before buying.Other than that, it has a solid table grasp and pretty flexible neck.

I really did love this, I got so much use out of it, a good 2 years. I was gentle with it too, remember that because I'll come back to it later. I started looking at these after my new larger, phone was giving me hand cramps. I ordered this one and have been pleasantly surprised. It is easy to clamp onto a table or nightstand and I didn't have any issues fitting my phone (with case) into the holder. The "flexible arm" is different than I imagined though-- more sturdy than bendy, but that works well because it stays in place, once you position it to where you want it. For the price, it's a great buy.
