I can't say for sure if it was an operator error or a product defect, but the screen didn't go completely flat even after I put a stack of printer paper and a textbook on it overnight hoping for a good fit . it still has some "feather" around the edges. The most disappointing thing is that the touch sensitivity isn't great and to use it I have to rotate the iPad multiple times and press all the buttons/dots I want because there seem to be some "dead spots" that don't register the touch regardless of how hard/soft they touch it. The kit came with everything that was advertised and seemed to me to be of better quality than those I've bought in the past so I can't really say who is to blame but that's how my experience with this repair kit ended.
