Okay I bought Daddy Bear size 32w first because that is the size he actually wears but when he put them on there was so much extra Material around his legs that it looked like he was wearing it. those "diaper pants Justin Bieber wore". So sent back and ordered a size smaller (30), they still fit in the bin and fit the hips much better. Now for the pants themselves. I bought them because Papa Bear is a landscaper. So these pants have enough pockets for his phone (without falling out), for a headphone pocket and for all his small tools that he keeps in his pockets for quick access. They are also thick enough that he no longer gets cuts or scratches from flying rocks, branches or other objects that hit him while he is working. Now, while the material is thick enough for protection, it's still comfortable enough that it doesn't feel like it's overheating. It's a big deal because we live in Arizona, which has an average of about 113 people in the summer. It all comes from him. So I've just ordered another pair and will be ordering more when a particular color comes up in their size. To update; get a second pair. Ordered a size down anyway and it's still a great pair of pants!
