I have bought several of these over the last 6 months, and absolutely love them. They have 3 settings, low, medium, and bright light. Depending on what I'm spotlighting, I tend to use the medium or high settings. the medium setting will last all night long with just a few hours of sunlight to charge them. I have spotlighted rocks, rose bushes, and trees on my property and haven't been disappointed. I need to look into it further, but I don't believe you can switch out the batteries after they stop working: that's my only recommendation to the company to change. Overall I am extremely satisfied!
