Review on 🔊 Enhanced Kemo M040N Preamplifier Module by April Medellin

Works great, easy to use. I have verified that it draws less than 2mA, allowing a 9 volt alkaline battery to last over 250 hours with this preamp. My application: I drive my newest Audi at track events of the Audi Club. They require all windows to be open for access by security personnel. The exhaust and engine noise of the latest Audi model are so quiet that the engine cannot be heard over the wind noise at high speeds. . So you can't use engine sounds to control revs and shift points on a street circuit. So I have this preamp under the hood of my car with a lavalier mic that picks up turbocharger noise and feeds an amplified signal to my car stereo with an extra jack in the glove box for a phone interface. That works great. The lower power consumption is ideal for 9V battery operation.
