I bought two sticks of this sheep from two different sellers. Both have been used. This is the first time I have ever bought a used sheep. When I got home I excitedly started the installation. Long story short, one stick worked fine, the other didn't, but I forgot which stick was from which seller. Most likely the seller sold me a bad memory or it may have been damaged before I received it as it was poorly packaged. Since I swapped two identical sticks of RAM, I couldn't tell which vendor sold me the one that didn't work. So if you are looking to buy a used RAM, you should be aware that it may or may not work. If you're not getting much, buy your RAM new! I got two used sticks of this ram for the price of a new one, so it didn't really bother me that one of them didn't work. Oh yeah, if you ever buy a RAM upgrade, do your research to make sure it's compatible with your motherboard. So many people buy RAM that isn't compatible with their motherboard and then complain that it doesn't work. user error. :)
