We have had this book bag for 5 months now. He survived IMPRESSIVELY. There are wheels and a plastic base at the bottom of the bag. The base is not cracked or torn. It's a bit worn, but even that's not as bad as I expected. The fabric part is also in good condition. It's dirty in places, but I think this bag will last 2 years (4th and 5th grade!) Hooray! The wheels are strong, they knocked a little, but they never fell off and didn't stop working - they look like wheels on roller skates. All small pens fit in the front pocket, small notepads are no problem. The zippers are strong. To be honest I don't know what else to say other than this bag is worth the money. I wouldn't think twice about buying it again if I need it but the nice thing is I don't need it because what I have has held up so well.
