I have several knives from this range and for the most part they are very good products. Both chef's knives are razor sharp, as is the paring knife. Unfortunately, the paring knife and utility knife weren't very sharp. If a knife has trouble cutting through the skin of a tomato, I won't be impressed. Luckily, sharpening a knife is easy enough, although it took me a while to get rid of my muscle memory of sharpening European-style (corner) knives. After sharpening it to what I expected from the factory, it held its edge very well (as you would expect from this type of steel). On the other hand, it takes a bit more work to sharpen a dull edge or finish a bad edge in the factory due to its good edge retention. Appearance, design and material are good, but attention to edges is out of control. Production needs to be improved. Hopefully corrective action has been taken since my original purchase.
