Does not cut

I bought these machines based on recommendations and reviews. I was very excited to try them as my last pair ended up failing. I have been able to trim my children's small hooves but when I tried to trim my mother's hooves they were difficult to cut through or even twisted/separated/whatever you call it when the blades closed. -and nothing cut. They carved a few things, but as regular claw trimmers they're no good (for reference, I have Nigerian pygmy goats).

Doesn't cut well

These trimmers don't cut well. I'm not sure if they weren't sharp enough or if the scissors were at the wrong angle. It's hard to say, but they just didn't work. I have an old pair that I bought from Tractor Supply and they still cut way better and are stronger. I only bought a second pair because I wanted a pair in the goat pen and a pair in the alpaca pen. I have since bought another pair of Producer's Pride trimmers from Tractor Supply and they are great for goats and alpacas.

Spring of Anger

I wanted to save some money and in the process only caused disappointment to myself and everyone who uses them. Pros: price, color, comes with extra spring! Cons: They wear out after a few cuts. It is difficult to cut because the blade is thin and sticks together after cutting. Damn feather falls out on one side or pops out all the way! The cut hurts so much and it gets stuck and then the quill pops out and that's why they give you the quill for free. I hope you find yours as I lost both of…
